problem with software

i download the 2 version of mysql serveer. 5.0 and 6.0.. i install 6.0 first.. i notice that 6.0 cant not execute the configuration.. hm.. so i install 5.0 as well then i read that in version 6.0 some feature they seperated it .. tht mean have to download and install diferentlaily and yet again they are no any step for me to follow... haiz
